Wife Emily Blunt is ‘the hero at home’

Jack Ryan star John Krasinski has spoken out about how much his wife, Emily Blunt, supports and inspires him in his work.
Shortly before the 13th wedding anniversary on July 10, actor John Krasinski (43) raved about his wife Emily Blunt (40) in an interview. She is very supportive and inspirational.
“She’s definitely the heroine at home”
Interviewed by E! News Commenting on the fourth and final season of “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan,” he said, “Your support has made this series possible for me.” She made sure that he could travel “around the world” for the filming and took care of the two daughters during that time. Emily Blunt previously described him as “everyone’s hero at home” in an interview. He said: “Maybe an everyman, but I don’t know what the hero is about. I think she’s definitely the hero at home.”
The actor went on to rave: “I take inspiration from her in everything.” His wife “did this action stuff a lot better than I did.” That’s why he looks at her films “Edge of Tomorrow” and “Jungle Cruise” to get ideas for his work.
His daughters thought he was an accountant
The 43-year-old gave more insights into his private life. He revealed that his daughters had no idea about his profession for a long time. Because the children were not allowed to see “A Quiet Place” and “Jack Ryan”. “I think they thought I was an accountant.” But then a friend’s child saw his series and asked why “Uncle John was on fire”. That’s when his first children realized for the first time that he wasn’t an accountant, but “a kind of fireman”.
Krasinski and Blunt met in 2008 while filming the film The Tempting Game. They married on July 10, 2010. Their first daughter Hazel was born in 2014, followed by Violet in 2016.
