John Travolta’s wife died two years ago. On her birthday, the actor addressed touching words to Kelly Preston.
Actress Kelly Preston (1962-2020), who died two years ago, would have celebrated her 60th birthday on October 13. For John Travolta (68), her husband, it is probably a particularly difficult day. The Hollywood star shared an old picture of the two on Instagram.
In the photo, the couple are seen when they were younger, apparently walking the red carpet at an event. The accompanying words that Travolta addressed directly to his deceased wife are particularly touching. “Happy birthday to my favorite dance partner,” writes the 68-year-old. “We love you and miss you Kelly.”

Their daughter Ella (22) reported with a comment in which she posted three heart emojis. A little bit later she published a clip on her account. In this several photos are lined up in which Ella was still a child and can be seen next to her mother. “Happy birthday mom,” the clip reads. “We love you,” she also writes next to a heart.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two year battle with breast cancer,” Travolta said in July 2020 have to report on Instagram. The couple married in 1991. In addition to their daughter Ella, they had two sons. Benjamin was born in 2010. Their first son, Jett (1992-2009), died aged just 16 after suffering a seizure.
