The actress was therefore ordered to pay millions of dollars to Johnny Depp in damages.
While Amber Heard’s acting career has stalled since the verdict of this trial, the former star of the franchise Pirates of the Caribbean is now trying to relaunch his own. Johnny Depp recently shot in the latest film by French director Maïwenn, in which he slipped into the skin of King Louis XV. In effect, the actor reaped a nice jackpot after selling limited edition serigraphs made by himself, in a London gallery. These represent his “friends and heroes” Bob Marley, River Phoenix, Hunter S. Thompson and Heath Ledger. Marketed between 4,500 and 17,500 pounds (between 5,000 and 19,700 euros, editor’s note), Johnny Depp’s serigraphs all sold out in just a few days, bringing the actor no less than 4.5 million pounds (5 million euros, editor’s note)according to information disclosed by the Times. “I have always used art to express my feelings and to reflect on those who mean the most to me, such as my family, my friends and the people I look up to. My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should ever limit themselves“, indicated Johnny Depp on the site of the Castle Fine Art gallery.
