Johnson & Johnson: Succession to the presidency of MedTech


(CercleFinance.com) – Johnson & Johnson announces that Ashley McEvoy, executive vice president and global president of MedTech, plans to leave the company to pursue other opportunities.

Therefore, the laboratory indicates that Tim Schmid has been named executive vice president and global president of MedTech, joining the company’s executive committee.

With 30 years of experience at Johnson & Johnson, Tim Schmid most recently served as Group President of Johnson & Johnson MedTech Asia Pacific (APAC).

‘During his tenure, the APAC region grew above the market and further strengthened our leadership position in several businesses,’ J&J points out.

As a reminder, Johnson & Johnson MedTech is a major player in the operating room which develops and markets medical devices used in particular in general surgery, orthopedics, traumatology, neuroradiology, electrophysiology, etc.
