Joko and Klaas send Germany on a treasure hunt in just seven minutes of broadcast time. Who will win their million dollar puzzle?

With their win at “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” last Tuesday (November 7th). Joko Winterscheidt (44) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40) secured 15 minutes of broadcasting at their leisure. Just in time for the start of primetime, the duo appear on ProSieben dressed in black suits and promise viewers in a dark setting that their lives may change in the next week. Because the moderators are sending Germany on a treasure hunt.

Who will find the million?

“We will hide a treasure and everyone has the opportunity to find it,” they explain the concept of the million-dollar hunt in “Joko & Klaas LIVE: The Treasure Hunt”. A suitcase containing the proud sum of one million euros is deposited “in an extremely secret location somewhere in Germany.” Finding it requires combination skills and puzzle skills.

15 minutes of broadcast time divided over seven days

For the first time in the history of the 15 minutes of broadcasting by Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf, the time will be divided – in addition to the edition on Wednesday evening, over the next six days. The popular presenters present one puzzle each evening. Whoever solves everything correctly can steal the suitcase with the million next Tuesday. The rule here is: whoever finds it gets to keep it.

What these puzzles look like will be demonstrated shortly. In a feature film, Heufer-Umlauf and Winterscheidt sit at the breakfast table and utter seemingly absurd dialogues. To a “So, so, so” from Winterscheidt, Heufer-Umlauf first responds with “No”, then with “How?”. Resourceful viewers can now figure out what that means for themselves.

In addition to the geo-coordinates of the suitcase, they are also looking for the combination for the three-digit combination lock behind which the treasure is hidden. The show ends at 8:22 p.m., after just seven minutes, but the next puzzle continues tomorrow, Thursday (November 9th), at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben.
