On Tuesday, the duo Winterscheidt / Heufer-Umlauf played again against ProSieben for 15 minutes of broadcasting time. The victory did not materialize this time either.

On Tuesday evening (December 14th) Joko Winterscheidt (42) and buddy Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (38) recorded it again with their station ProSieben. After the first defeat of this season last week, the two moderators could not claim a victory in episode four either. That happened with “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben”.

Clueso and Sido as prominent opponents

After the 42-year-old Joko had to rely on the physical support of producer and author Jakob Lundt (35) for the last edition of the show due to injury, he also completed episode four partly as a viewer. In the first game, however, it was first about the mental abilities of the two and they faced their TV colleague Jeannine Michaelsen (39) and singer Clueso (41, “flight mode”). Kitchen appliances had to be recognized by the sung operating instructions, and Michaelsen and Clueso won.

After the second game “Selfies with Animals”, which Joko and Klaas won, Winterscheidt’s substitute Lundt was used for the first time in game three. In the duel with rapper Sido (41) and entertainer Jens “Knossi” Knossalla (35), various objects had to be hidden so well in built-up bedrooms that the other team could not find them. Here too, ProSieben was responsible for the victory.

How well the friends Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf really know each other was put to the test in game four. One of the two had to prioritize possible answers to a question in terms of their personal importance and the other then had to arrange them in the same order as possible. For example, Joko dealt with the burning question “Which part of the body could I do without?” or had to classify the office dogs of his employees from “Very cute” to “Possibly forgotten at the motorway service station”. However, too often Klaas and Joko were wrong in the order of their answers and they were again subject to their employer.

The moderator duo loses six out of seven games

The next challenge required physical dexterity again, which is why the Winterscheidt “double” Jakob Lundt competed again. Objects should be knocked from the back of the hand of the opponent with a restricted range of motion without your own falling. The result: dancing balancing acts, some of which were almost graceful. The prominent opponents from the ProSieben team, Patrick Owomoyela (42) and Simon Gosejohann (45), were also more successful this time.

Now it looked bleak for Team Winterscheidt / Heufer-Umlauf. But still: they had two games left to turn things around. Extra at game six with the imaginative name “Car-Brüll-Karaoke”: Ex-racing driver and TV presenter Matthias Malmedie (46). Next to him at the wheel, Joko had to go on a journey through hell and shout songs into a megaphone. Klaas should guess it from afar. However, the buddy duo could not win the ten of 20 titles required.

The final challenge was simply called “Gegen die Wand” – another game that Winterscheidt only watched due to injury. Ten tasks had to be solved that required intelligence, skill and body control. In addition, the LED area was not allowed to be left. Here, however, Klaas made a mistake and the Winterscheidt / Heufer-Umlauf team lost the show duel with one to seven against their house broadcaster.

Mild punishment for Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf

This time, however, the punishment was relatively mild: On Wednesday (December 15), Joko and Klaas had to answer all callers’ questions live from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. as part of a call-in show. Moderator Steven Gätjen (49) ended the program with a special announcement for the coming week. The fifth duel will be frosty in the truest sense of the word, because it takes place on an ice surface shortly before Christmas.

“Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben on Ice” will run on December 21 from 8:15 pm on ProSieben.
