Jordan Bardella reacted to his indictment following his comments on the city of Trappes, in the Yvelines, at the microphone of Europe 1 this Wednesday. The vice-president of the National Rally denounced the “goal” of French justice to “silence those who denounce reality”, pleading that the presidential election is crucial in the security issue.

Jordan Bardella announced Wednesday his indictment for having qualified in October 2021 the city of Trappes as an “Islamic Republic”. “I received the notification of the indictment for having qualified the city of Trappes as an Islamic Republic when I returned home yesterday”, indicated the right arm of Marine to our microphone from Europe 1.

What is he accused of? In October 2021, after the re-election of the mayor of Trappes (Yvelines) Ali Rabeh, Jordan Bardella, deploring in a press release that “the government remains passive before the constitution of Islamic Republics in miniature”, had demanded that the city councilor, that he suspected of Islamist clientelism, be revoked and his city put under guardianship. “I regret that French justice is pursuing the same goal today as the Islamists, namely to silence those who denounce reality and those who refuse to see countless neighborhoods in France transform”, criticized the vice-president of the RN.

Because this indictment comes “at a time when we learn that journalists, and in particular one of your colleagues from M6 and a resident of Roubaix, have been placed under police protection for not only denouncing, but simply describing reality and showing the progression of Islamism in the city of Roubaix”, he lamented.

A “security issue”

M6 host Ophélie Meunier and a young man from Roubaix, Amine Elbahi, were placed under police protection after receiving threats following a report by the program “Zone Interdite” devoted to Islamism. “This presidential election will obviously be an issue of civilization but also an issue of security because Islamism today has taken power in many neighborhoods and we are the only ones to oppose it,” added Jordan Bardella.

“The physical or legal persecution of those who speak the truth speaks volumes about the state of France. Let’s act before it’s too late,” he tweeted earlier. Jordan Bardella announced, at the heart of the presidential campaign, wanting “a bill” to deal with it.
