Joséphine, guardian angel on TF1: what is the episode of Monday June 26 worth with Linda Hardy (Tomorrow belongs to us)?

TF1 is finally broadcasting the episode of “Josephine guardian angel” with Linda Hardy (“Tomorrow belongs to us”) which had been deprogrammed in December. A touching mission for Mimie Mathy who is interested in the case of a young dancer suffering from cancer.

Good news for fans of Joséphine, guardian angel: the favorite angel of the French is making a comeback this Monday, June 26 on TF1 with an episode rich in emotion, which takes us into the world of dance and hip-hop, and deals with the difficult subject of cancer in adolescents.

Initially scheduled to air on December 19, 2022, “Love each other urgently”, which welcomes Linda Hardy as a guest of choice in the role of Charlotte, a dance teacher who sees her life and her certainties waver because of the illness of his daughter, had been deprogrammed at the last minute to make way for a special edition devoted to the course of the Blues during the 2022 Football World Cup.

The faithful of the series worn by Mimie Mathy, who has been making the heyday of TF1 for more than 25 years, will therefore finally be able to discover this touching episode this Monday evening. More than six months after the last unpublished to date, which featured Ingrid Chauvin (Tomorrow belongs to us) and Fabrice Deville (Un Si Grand Soleil).

What is it about ?

In this new mission entitled “To love each other urgently”, our favorite angel is indeed interested in the case of Charlotte, 40 years old, and daughter Léa, 16 years old, between whom nothing is going well.

While Charlotte has just separated from her husband Vincent, this former dancer with an international career is forced to accept a position in a major Parisian dance school. She therefore has to move and finds herself alone in Paris with her daughter, whom she does not know very well, after having torn her away from her friends and her high school.

The mother and the daughter cannot speak to each other and Charlotte despairs of establishing a bond of complicity with her child. It is then that the sky falls on their heads: following a fall in the street, we discover that Léa has acute leukemia.

Joséphine will have to help this mother and her daughter find the right distance, the right relationship in order to overcome the disease. Especially since, determined to live to the fullest the time that remains to her, Léa refuses to take care of herself and prefers to concentrate on the passion which animates her and on her friends. But it is precisely this common passion that binds mother and daughter – dance – that could well serve as Josephine’s secret weapon.

A new episode that will delight fans of the series

After a little over 100 episodes, we can obviously always make the same criticisms of Joséphine, guardian angel, who accumulates a little too much good feelings and struggles to renew herself at the level of her intrigues, which constantly see the character of Mimie Mathy try solve complicated family histories.

But it’s the recipe for the series and it appeals to fans since the adventure has been going on for 25 years now on TF1. The faithful of Joséphine, guardian angel should not sulk their pleasure in front of this new episode which fits rather at the top of the basket thanks to touching sequences and a theme – the disease in young people – not so often approached in television. Even if we are quite far from the success of the Red Bracelets, in an obviously somewhat different register.

The series retains its universal and educational side for the whole family. And this episode owes a lot to the performances of Linda Hardy, whom fans of Tomorrow belongs to us and of Research Section will be happy to find on screen, and of the young Alicia Popov, alias Léa, who lands her first role here.

A distribution that is completed by Yann Sundberg (Clem), Clémentine Verdier (Tomorrow belongs to us) and Patrick Paroux, the Parizot of Camping paradis who thus abandons the holiday atmosphere of the other family series of TF1 to embody the director of the school where Charlotte teaches.

Fans of Joséphine, guardian angel should be thrilled with this new mission. And the good news is that the series is far from having said its last word since new episodes are already in preparation.
