Judy Farrell is dead. The actress known from the series “MASH” died at the age of 84 as a result of a stroke

American actress Judy Farrell is dead. This is reported by the gossip portal “TMZ”, citing her son Michael. According to him, his mother died in a hospital last Sunday at the age of 84 after suffering a stroke. She had been taken to the hospital the day before and was fully conscious to the end. Only the ability to speak had been lost in the last few hours.

Farrell is best known for her role as Nurse Able on the cult series MASH. The tragi-comic series was produced from 1972 to 1983 and deals with the peculiarities of the soldiers of a mobile field hospital of the US Army in the Korean War. Farrell was also a popular actress in other US television classics. Among other things, she had appearances in the sitcom “The Partridge Family” or in the crime series “Quincy”. In 2006 she acted in the movie “Long-Term Relationship”.

Judy Farrell is survived by her second husband, Joe Bratcher, and their adult children, Michael and Erin. Until 1983, Farrell was married to fellow actor Mike Farrell (84), who played one of the main characters, Captain BJ Hunnicutt, in “MASH”.
