If Julia Vignali is today a known and recognized animator, she was not destined for such a profession. Indeed, facing Marie-Amélie Druesne for the podcast Current WomenKad Merad’s wife spoke his different professional experiences before breaking into television. Firstly, she wanted to point out that she was an excellent student. “I was a reserved child, a good student in high school which allowed me to do a great education, an HEC prep, a higher business school which destined me either for careers in finance or in marketing. I was already more in the idea of do marketing or communication”, she first explained to discuss the basics of her course. Finally, when she left school, looking for her first job, she found an internship in a record company. “I really liked music, concerts […] so I landed an internship at PolyGram Music and I then worked at Universal Music. I collaborated with a label and I was dedicated to international service so I went to look for the artists who came to France and I participated, in my small way, in their success”she remembered with pride.

Luigi’s mother then left the world of music to launch herself into comedy at the age of 25. “I signed up with advertising agencies to act as a commercial actressshe confided, hoping that this experience could allow her to become an actress in her own right. “I didn’t just want to eat yogurt on TV”, she said, laughing. In the end, that’s mainly what she did and she doesn’t regret it at all today. “It is from this experience that I take this ability to know how to sell myself and to have confidence in myself.” Finally, before becoming the host that everyone knows now, she played Miss Weather on the Canal + morning show, at 35 years old. Julia Vignali did not have the feeling of representing clichés on television. “It was very pleasant to do and I have great memories of it. I didn’t have the feeling of being a fool at all. It wasn’t at all the morning atmosphere”she wanted to clarify.
