A page turns. Present in the show worn by Sophie Davant since its first issue in the summer of 2017, Julien Cohen has decided to retire. A choice that he justified on his Instagram account, Friday, December 24. After “1,557 programs toured, 1,813 items purchased, 7,204 people met“, the second-hand dealer, recognizable among a thousand by his famous blue glasses aspiring to “new adventures”, bows out.
Yes this ad surprised viewers, may they be reassured, Julien Cohen will not leave the antenna for a few months. “The public will continue to see him for some time thanks to unpublished episodes, which it will run until mid-March, and the reruns“, writing The Parisian in its December 25 edition. Nevertheless, the 53-year-old does not close the door to a possible return to the small screen : “It is not excluded that I return in a new program, on the theme of second-hand goods or urbex that I will present alone or perhaps accompanied. It is in reflection, because I do not run after the cameras and the flashes.“
Julien Cohen: his plans for the future
It’s with head full of projectsthan the antiquarian is preparing to leave France 2 . Since the fall he has been at the head of a second-hand dealerlocated in Péronne in the Somme “and in which his colleagues can offer their products to customers”. And while the second “planned for Avallon (Yonne)” is about to open its doors, Julien Cohen wishes to devote himself fully to it. “It’s the only thing that motivates me and my decision was made with my wife“, he explains to Picard Courier.
