In PandaJulien Doré, a great lover of animals and nature, is none other than a “relaxed pacifist and fan of cool”, running “a small hut in a remote corner of the Camargue”.
A character who resembles Julien Doré
A story that echoes that of Julien Doré, who himself left Paris several years ago to settle in the heart of nature, in the Cévennes, where he flourishes with his partner, their son and their two dogs , Jean-Marc and Simone. His character Panda went even further in disconnection. He has no cell phone, no computer, no car, and he lives with his 16-year-old teenager “in this perfect cocoon of peace and serenity”.
But Panda had another life, very different, since he was once a cop, and not just any cop, one of the best. “Alas, even in paradise, there is no way to be peaceful! The day his old life comes knocking at the door, Panda finds himself forced to return to service… But in his own way. Without weapons or violence and not too early in the morning. Zen, what”, we can read in the synopsis of the series which will be broadcast from November 30 on TF1.

Julien Doré, for his part, is delighted to have tried his hand at comedy and to have played the role of Panda who resembles him so much… “Apart from certain caricatured reliefs, Panda is me! My life in the Cévennes fits exactly the way he evolves in his environment. The hut, his relationship with others, his clothing appearance are all similarities. I felt good in this character because I didn’t have to deceive myself, nor to go find someone else”, confided the singer in an interview for TF1. No worries for his fans, Julien Doré does not intend to give up music for comedy. The star has just announced her new tour, a year after the end of her “Aimée Tour”.
