Images of the truck that killed 86 people on the Promenade des Anglais have been posted on social media, accompanied by hate speech.
Just a few days before the opening of the trial of the Nice attacks, the mayor of the city, Christian Estrosi, declared that he wanted to seize the prosecutor after the dissemination on social networks of images of the murderous truck coupled with “despicable messages referring to the Nice attack“.

On his Twitter account, the chosen one shared a screenshot of the message in question, on which we can see a photo of the truck accompanied by the following sentence: “Nissa shit, 80 fascists disappeared“.
According to information from BFM Nice Côte d’Azur, these posts were broadcast by supporters of Olympique de Marseille, as assured the local channel Anthony Borré, first deputy mayor of Nice.
The trial of the July 14 attacks is due to open on September 5 and should last three months.
