Actress Tina Ruland is the next officially confirmed candidate for the jungle camp in 2022.

Three participants in the 15th season of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” have been certain for a long time now RTL has officially confirmed the next candidate: “Actress Tina Ruland will travel to South Africa.” The 55-year-old fashion designer Harald Glööckler (56), singer Lucas Cordalis (54) and “Jungle Show” winner Filip Pavlovic (27) are doing the same.

Cologne-born Tina Ruland celebrated her breakthrough as hairdresser Uschi at the side of Til Schweiger (58) in the cult film “Manta, Manta” (1991). The family series “Not from Bad Parents” (1993-1996), in which she was seen with Sabine Postel (67), Ulrich Pleitgen (1946-2018) and Patrick Bach (53), was also a success. In 2018 Ruhland tried her luck on the RTL show “Let’s Dance”, but was the first to drop out.

“I’m not the bravest,” admits the Berliner by choice in an interview with the broadcaster. “But maybe I’ll surpass myself.” But one thing is already certain for her: “I don’t want to be the camp mom. I’ll leave that to Harald Glööckler”.

New jungle crown is awarded in South Africa

After there was only one “jungle show” in the TV studio last year due to the pandemic, it is now back to nature: The new season is not yet taking place in the Australian state of New South Wales. This time the twelve prominent candidates fight for yellow stars and the jungle crown near the Kruger National Park in northeast South Africa, the largest game reserve in the country.

The TV show starts on January 21 on RTL.
