Jungle chic: the most stylish living trend for all nature freaks

Time for a few new roommates. They are a bit green behind the ears, but most of them are very easy to care for. We are, of course, talking about indoor plants, which is what the latest home trend is all about.

Welcome to the private jungle

The latest living trend is called "jungle chic" and is perfect for all plant whisperers and city dwellers who have always wanted a garden or hobby botanists whose favorite color is green. The goal of the trend is to transform your apartment into a small, private indoor garden. It's very easy to do. How? By simply bringing very, very many different houseplants into your own four walls. It is used to decorate shelves, window sills, bathtubs, tables … Wherever there is parking space. By the way, they can also hang from the ceiling. The motto here: the greener, the better!

Wild trend for relaxed living

Have we looked too much Tarzan and the Jungle Book? No, not at all. Plants have many advantages: They improve the room climate, act as sound insulation and reduce our stress level. But above all, the trend just makes you happy! Already looking at your private nature park you feel completely relaxed. And where better to relax and read a book than in a bathtub surrounded by green leaves. If that's not idyllic.

Not a green thumb?

Are you one of those people without green fingers and are an unintentional plant killer who has already wilted one or the other leaves? Then you have to approach the trend a little differently. Rely on plants that don't die quickly and that will survive if you forget to water them for another week. Oops. Bow hemp, aloe vera, philodendron and the money tree, for example, are pretty easy to care for and survive without much attention. And for all those who let these plants die themselves, cacti can bring themselves into their own four walls. Then it won't be an indoor jungle, but an apartment with a desert atmosphere. Has something too!
