The team responsible for recreating the different sounds and cries of the dinosaurs from the first Jurassic Park had to be very creative. For example, the call of Dilophosaurus, the frilled dinosaur, is a combination of the calls of howler monkeys, hawks, rattlesnakes and swans.

Regarding the vicious Velociraptors, their shrill cry includes sounds of elephant seals, dolphins and walruses. As for the chilling roar of the T-Rex, it was obtained by combining barks, cries of penguins, tigers, alligators and elephants.
