Jurassic World Evolution 2: underwater species added with the Prehistoric Marine Species pack

Frontier Developments keep adding content Jurassic World Evolution 2, its animal park management game with dinosaurs brought back to life. The studio presents today Prehistoric Marine Speciesa new additional pack which will be launched next week and which will introduce new species.

Players who will buy this DLCs will thus be able to discover four new marine species, as well as elements to diversify the aquatic attractions of the park. The developers detail:

L’Archelonwhose name means “sovereign tortoise”, is largest turtle ever discovered. Endowed with enormous fins, Archelon moves quickly through the water and uses its hooked beak to catch fish. Despite its size, this species belonging to the Upper Cretaceous is able to float in shallow waters, which allows visitors to see it easily.

The Agile Predator nothosaurus is totally different, with its long, flat skull and menacing needle-like teeth. As seen in the hit Netflix series from Universal Pictures, Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, the nothosaurus is a species that lived during the Upper Triassic period.

Players can also select the Dunkleosteus, a powerful armored fish dating back to the Devonian extinction. With a sharp jaw that displays immense strength, the Dunkleosteus is an intimidating figure who sneaks around.

THE Shonisaurus, a graceful, round-bodied ichthyosaur from the Upper Triassic period, completes the group. Despite its size, the Shonisaurus was a skilled hunter of the depths.

The Jurassic World Evolution 2:Prehistoric Marine Species pack also introduces a new environment Lagoon Rocks that players can add to their paddocks to provide visitors with new Archelon and Nothosaurus observation domes.

This DLC comes witha free update that brings players a whole host of new features and improvements. Visitors to the park can enjoy a fully immersive experience marveling at marine species from the new lagoon observation dome or observing the dinosaurs from the San Diego Amphitheater, which can now be placed in any sandbox park. Moreover, custom challenge share codes will allow players to define and share their own challenges. Fleet managers can also choose their favorite skins, enable or disable dinosaur hostility to visitors and gain unlocked access to all sandbox mode maps.
