One of them could soon be created in Styria. As was announced on Friday, asylum accommodation is to be set up in the former state care center in Kindberg in Upper Styria. According to the responsible federal care agency (BBU), primarily for asylum seekers with medical care needs – such as sick, old or disabled people. “We need more capacity and would rather have that today than tomorrow, but we are still in the middle of the negotiations,” says BBU spokesman Thomas Fussenegger on the “Steirerkrone”. does not exist yet.
