May 4th is “Star Wars” day. Natalie Portman celebrates him with a throwback photo – and Mark Hamill with the mighty Joe-B-Wan Kenobi.

I’m still “in awe of all the people who brought these films to life – and the storytelling of George Lucas.”

In the comments section, countless “Star Wars” fans celebrate with Portman, including some prominent hobby Jedis like Reese Witherspoon (48). The Oscar winner took on the role of the princess and later mother of Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker in all three parts of the prequel trilogy. This was followed by “Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones” in 2002 and “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith” in 2005.

And what does Luke Skywalker do on “Star Wars” day?

Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill, who is known for posting diligently on social media, will also live up to his reputation on “Star Wars” day – and how: On Friday (May 3rd) he was a guest at US President Joe Biden (81) in the White House. And who knows power better than the most powerful man in the world?

He published a photo on X from the meeting where the two smile and put their arms around each other’s shoulders. Hamill wrote: “May May 4th be the day a would-be protector of the galaxy meets a true protector of democracy.” He suggested a new nickname for the president, which Biden immediately took to his heart: “Joe-B-Wan Kenobi.”
