Kaia Gerber (18) wants to bring color to her quarantine period. The model daughter of Cindy Crawford (54) presented her latest hair experiment in an IGTV video. "I never thought I'd have colored hair," Gerber admits in the video. Which color did the previously bleached model choose? "Cotton candy fuchsia" or in other words: pink. She got professional support for her hairy experiment.
She emulates a grunge legend
Star hairdresser Guido Palau (58) joined in virtually and accompanied Gerber on her one-hour transformation, during which she covered the tips of her hair with color. "I wanted to look like Kurt Cobain", Kaia Gerber remembers of the inspirational photos that she sent to the hairdresser she trusted.
Her haircut is also said to be reminiscent of the late Nirvana frontman (1967-1994). "Every year I get closer to his look," explains the model. When she got her hair cut by Palau himself, her life changed because "I felt a lot more like myself," explains Gerber. And the model also likes her new pink hair tips. "I love her," she sums up at the end of the video. At the request of the hairdresser, the model also posted a photo of the result.
In the lockdown, Gerber had already given her originally brown hair a shimmering golden brown with blonde highlights and then opted for platinum blonde.
