Kaitlynn Carter: Miley Cyrus' public separation was "tough"

For Kaitlynn Carter, separating from Miley Cyrus was tough – but also instructive. The blogger now admitted that in a podcast.

The relationship between Miley Cyrus (27, "Slide Away") and Kaitlynn Carter (31) was never really official. At the latest after Carter wrote an essay about the short liason for the US magazine "Elle" in November 2019, at least all doubts were resolved. Now the blogger has spoken again in a podcast about the separation – and what lessons she has learned from it.

"What I have become aware of about dating is that I prefer to keep it private," said Carter in an interview with actor Nick Viall (39) in his podcast "The Viall Files". After the "situation" with Cyrus ended in September 2019, Carter vowed never to have a relationship in public again.

Separation was "hard"

The two women had tried to keep everything out of the media: "But it was as it was. And it is really hard to get through a separation in the public eye," admits Carter. Still, you can learn a lot from it. Meanwhile, someone has met her, says Carter. But she would now take everything step by step.

In August 2019, Cyrus announced that the marriage to actor Liam Hemsworth (30) had failed after only seven months. The divorce papers were filed a few weeks later. The short relationship with Carter followed. Since the beginning of October 2019, Cyrus has apparently been in a relationship with singer Cody Simpson (23, "Free").
