Kaleidoscope: The best order – this is how you should watch the Netflix crime series!

Anyone who watches the “Kaleidoscope” series on Netflix will first see a short introductory video that explains the big highlight of the Netflix production: The 8 episodes of the series can be seen in any order and Netflix subscribers already get the episodes in different orders displayed.

However, the episode “White” is always displayed as the last episode, since series creator Eric Garcia believes that the story works best if you watch “White” at the end. But of course you don’t have to listen to that and so there are over 40,000 possible sequences.

Other sequences thrive on the fact that some open questions are only answered through flashbacks in other episodes. Without the random order gimmick, Kaleidoscope might have appeared in this order on Netflix. In “Yellow” the gang is assembled for the big robbery and the countdown is on. With “Purple” we jump back in time and learn more about the background, “Orange” then continues the background story, “Green” answers other open questions from the past and with “Blue” we have almost reached the big heist.

Since “white”, i.e. the robbery itself, is the big highlight, we’ll save this episode as the finale and instead see “red” and “pink” first, so jump a little further in time. This creates some open questions, which are then satisfactorily answered in “white”.

Of course, there are countless other possible and worthwhile orderings, but it’s a gamble where you might see the particularly exciting episodes too early and the informative but rather quiet episodes too late.
