Thanks to Coolidge2, Kalray intends to accelerate its growth, particularly in the area of ​​intensive storage and Edge Computing. Acceleration cards based on Coolidge2 will enable performance gains of 20 to 50% compared to current solutions, significant reductions in energy consumption and support for additional features such as on-the-fly compression to optimize usage. storage.

Intensive storage

Beyond the intensive storage market, with Coolidge2, Kalray aims to take a leading position in the broader Edge Computing market. Coolidge2 aims in particular at two types of solutions. “Smart Vision” solutions, which consist of analyzing streams of images or videos in the most efficient way possible, in particular using new AI-based approaches…
