Kao the Kangaroo returns this summer on all platforms. The license had started in 2001 on Dreamcast and PC, and had since fallen into oblivion. After almost 20 years of absence, Tate Multimedia has announced a new opus even crazier than at the time. Given the energy with which this new opus arrives, we want to believe that it can become an essential platform game.
Get ready to take a knockout
A small presentation trailer, broadcast by IGN, was obviously welcome. Everything is very colorful, and the inspirations are obvious. Passing from one Banjo-Kazooiehas a Crash Bandicoot or to a Ratchet & Clank, it is clear that we are on a platform game that absolutely does not take itself seriously, with a good dose of good humor. The most important thing will be to know if Kao the Kangaroo manages to create a real identity.
