Kärcher, Vorwerk & Co.: The best battery wipers at Stiftung Warentest

In an issue (5/2022), Stiftung Warentest tested a total of 7 battery wipers, including a battery-powered vacuum wiper. In addition to wiping performance, the test criteria also include handling and environmental properties such as volume and energy consumption.

In the test, no device was able to secure the top rating of “very good”. Two battery wipers perform “well”, but are very expensive at just under 400 and 1,000 euros respectively. Four other wipers still cut off “satisfactorily”. The cordless vacuum wiper in the test is not convincing. The branded product for just under 400 euros fails with the “poor” rating.

In the following table we present the test winners, a cheap price tip and a powerful battery wiper with suction function. Since the model from the Stiftung Warentest investigation cannot be recommended, we will briefly show you the test winner from our purchase advice that our partner AllesBeste carried out. The model was also tested by Stiftung Warentest and received a “satisfactory” rating (grade 3.2).
