And this concerns her debut, especially during her first season at the helm of the show, the fifth edition broadcast in 2010. At the time, Karine Le Marchand still fell into the trap of politeness and obviously did not know how to refuse. the glasses of alcohol offered by the farmers when recording portraits. For fear of offending them, she had therefore found herself drinking sometimes in the morning… and end up drunk. What sometimes make the days of filming complicated.

“The first year, I didn’t dare say no. The candidates tested me by serving me impossible things from 7 a.m. I won’t tell you”, remembered the host with humor. A bad habit that she quickly got rid of, not wishing to relive this kind of rather funny experience. “Now, I almost always refuse. But it makes them laugh, and it’s always benevolent”she concluded, before ensuring that she was now able to “kindly decline these offers” to maintain full concentration.
