Comedian Karl Dall died on November 23 of a stroke at the age of 79. He doesn't want to be buried.
The comedian Karl Dall (1941-2020) was born near the North Sea, in Emden in East Frisia. Until his death he lived in Hamburg on the Alster, in the city with one of the largest ports in the world. And his burial will now also be maritime.
"During his lifetime, Karl Dall ordered and paid for a burial at sea in close family circles," his manager told the dpa. Dall's ashes are to be handed over to the North Sea, but the burial will not take place until the corona pandemic has been contained again. "So next summer at the earliest."
