Andrew WK and Kat Dennings have tied the knot. Only 15 guests were invited in total, including one quite a star.
American actress Kat Dennings (37) is now a married woman. The “2 Broke Girls” actress celebrated the wedding with her fiancé, the rock musician Andrew WK (44), in an interview with “Vogue” and also had some photos of the wedding published there. Also via Instagram Dennings shared numerous in a total of three posts Snapshots of herself and her new husband from the day of marriage.
Dennings poses in the photos in a cream-colored lace dress and with bright red painted lips. In the interview she was also asked why she decided against a classic wedding dress: “I realized that, as a very pale person, I don’t like myself in white.” She tested different options for a long time, but ultimately settled on what she considered to be the “perfect” vintage dress from the fashion label Alexander McQueen.

In the conversation, she also explained why she was sure she had found the man of her dreams in Andrew: “It quickly became clear that we were made for each other.” He visited her for the first time three years ago and at the end of his stay neither of them could imagine ever being apart from each other again: “We actually proposed to each other at the same moment in the kitchen.”
The two didn’t want a big wedding party, so the couple decided on an intimate wedding with 15 people in their house: “We realized that a small wedding at home was too cozy to resist.” In addition, all of her things were already there, so there was no need to pack anything. Among the few guests was “Home Alone” star Macaulay Culkin (43) with his partner Brenda Song (35).
The couple made their engagement public in May 2021 – around a week after the musician and actress publicly announced their relationship. Dennings was in a relationship with singer Josh Groban (42) from 2014 to 2016. The couple is said to have separated amicably after almost two years. She was most recently seen on the TV screen in the Disney+ series “WandaVision” and on the big screen in the movie “Thor: Love and Thunder”. In the Marvel productions she plays the astrophysicist Dr. Darcy Lewis.
