Goldie Hawn congratulated her daughter Kate Hudson on her 45th birthday with moving words.

Hollywood star Kate Hudson (45) celebrated her 45th birthday on April 19th. On this special occasion, Hudson’s mother Goldie Hawn (78) looked back into the past. The actress shared on Instagram a picture of mother and daughter together from Hudson’s youth. In the accompanying text, Hawn sends moving congratulations to the birthday child.

“Happy birthday, my darling daughter,” Hawn begins her post. “In addition to all the things you’ve already accomplished in your life – being a great mother, a wonderful dancer, Oscar-nominated actress and now an amazing singer – we mustn’t forget that you were the fastest runner in high school and all “You were in Los Angeles!”

In the photo from Hawn’s birthday post, mother and daughter warmly hug, smile at the camera, and are both wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.

Hudson, who was so congratulated, thanked her in a comment. “Haha! Mom, you are the best! Being fast is still my favorite feat. Catch me if you can! I love you so much,” she wrote.

Kate Hudson is the daughter of Hawn and her ex-husband Bill Hudson (74). The couple was married from 1976 to 1982.

Actress Reese Witherspoon also wished Hudson a happy birthday on her Instagram story. “Happy birthday, my little songbird, Kate Hudson! I love your beautiful spirit and your stunning new album,” writes the actress, known from the series “Big Little Lies,” among others in the social network.

Hudson announced just a few days ago that she would be releasing her first album ever on May 17th. The “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” actress said about “Glorious.” according to Rolling Stone in a press release that she spent years “making music quietly and living in the songs” before deciding she was finally ready to release music.
