Kate Middleton all smiles: the Duchess pulls out all the stops in a light pink dress for her last day in the Caribbean

The Cambridge royal Caribbean tour is over! For her last commitments, this Saturday, March 26, Kate Middleton had opted for a spring dress.

She finished her royal tour in style! After several days spent in the Caribbean, to carry out a mission entrusted by Elizabeth II, Prince William and Kate Middleton left the Bahamas to return to England. For one of her last engagements on the spot, the Duchess of Cambridge once again won over her interlocutors with a faultless outfit. This Saturday, March 26, she traveled with her husband to the main island of Abaco and visited a Fish Fry, a typical Bahamian culinary gathering place. During this visit, Prince William and Kate Middleton met vendors who gave them a taste of conch salad. The Duchess of Cambridge even went behind the counter to prepare this traditional dish.

And for the occasion, Kate Middleton had opted for a very spring outfit consisting of a pink midi dress, which featured a button down collar and a subtle animal print. This outfit, signed by the Roxi brand that she adores, is sold at 254 pounds. To complete her look of the day, the Duchess of Cambridge chose an Emmy London clutch in the same tones at 370 pounds as well as a pair of wedge shoes, sold for 160 pounds by the Spanish brand Castañer. It is therefore in this outfit that Kate Middleton met locals during a royal walk, including several children and a young photographer. On site, the couple also spoke with residents who are rebuilding the island of Abaco, devastated by Hurricane Dorian.

Prince William: ‘Catherine and I are committed to serving you’

After this royal tour, the first since the coronavirus pandemic, it’s time to take stock. If they were rather well received in the Caribbean, Kate Middleton and Prince William were heckled by pro-Republic demonstrators, who demand that their countries emancipate themselves from the Commonwealth. Before his departure from elsewhere, the future king made a much-awaited speech. “I know this tour has brought to light even more specific questions about the past and the future. In Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas, it’s up to people to decide their future, did he declare. (…) Catherine and I are committed to serving you. For us, it’s not about telling people what to do. It’s about serving them and supporting them in whatever way they see fit.”
