Kate Middleton and her son Louis: their discreet visit behind the scenes of Dancing with the Stars in England

While the Princess of Wales has moved away from public life to treat the cancer from which she suffers, perhaps she will take advantage of her free time to rewatch the broadcasts of the many seasons of Strictly Come Dancingthe overseas equivalent of Dance with the stars. Because if Kate Middleton is very discreet about her private life, having for example only announced her cancer several months after her diagnosis, it is well known that the wife of Prince William is a big fan of the audiovisual dance competition. She was also able to enjoy a secret visit behind the scenes of the program, in the company of Charlotte and Louis, also fans of the show. At the time, the trio even got to meet the judges, some of the professional dancers as well as presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, reveals The Mirror.

And to the greatest pleasure of Charlotte and Louis, gifts had been prepared for the princess and her mischievous little brother. The dancer Shirley explained to the Sun that both “magnificent” children were able to leave the set with two accessories and sweets. “When they came, we had these crowns on set, so I thought it would be a good idea to give the little girl a crown, and [j’ai donné à Louis] a nice box of sweets.” But Louis wasn’t satisfied with the candy: “He said, ‘I want one,’ and pointed to the crown. So we had to go get him a little crown.” Although described as “beautifully polished”the two children remain children, who “had a lot of fun”and who left lasting memories with those who met them.

The Windsors, fans of the dance show?

But Kate, Charlotte and Louis are not the only ones not to miss a broadcast of Strictly Come Dancing. According to dancer Nadiya Bychkova, all members of the royal family are fans of the dance show, and “look at her all the time.” Queen Camilla even participated in the program. A passion shared by Princess Anne, who would love to take part in the competition, according to one of the dancers in the program.
