We thus learn that Kate Middleton “was admitted to hospital for abdominal surgery”. It was not an emergency operation, since it had been “scheduled”, although we do not know more about the reasons which led to this medical procedure. But let the public, with whom William’s wife holds a very special place, rest assured: the operation carried out the day before, Tuesday January 16, 2024, was a success. The favorite princess of the English should however “stay in the hospital for ten to fourteen daysbefore returning home to continue her convalescence” with her husband and their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
Prince William’s wife probably won’t return to office “before Easter”
Furthermore, it appears that his full recovery will take several months. Indeed, according to “current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public office before Easter”. Thus, through her communication service, Kate Middleton “would like to apologize” to all those affected by the postponement of his royal commitments. “She’s looking forward to it” to be able to reschedule all these official visits “as soon as possible”. The last public appearance of the Princess of Wales dates back to December 25, 2023, when she attended, as every year, the Christmas mass given at Sandringham, with her husband William and their children, as well as the rest of the royal family like King Charles III and Queen Camilla in particular.
Although she is “aware of the interest that this declaration will arouse”among the public, due to her notoriety of course but also her strong popularity rating, Kate Middleton would however like to point out that “his personal medical information remains private”. The Princess of Wales therefore asks the population to “understand her desire to maintain as much normality as possible for her children”.
