Kate Middleton in dazzling dress with Prince William on his 31: chic reception in the Bahamas

The fashion show of Kate Middleton in the Caribbean continued this Friday, March 25 with a dazzling dress! While she had already made an impression when she arrived in the archipelago with a turquoise blue dress in the colors of the local flag, we had seen her more natural with a long green dress then shorts during the day.

But for the reception given in their honor at Sir Cornelius Smith, the Governor General of the Bahamas, she arrived in an absolutely sublime dress, signed by the British seamstress Philippa Lepley. Tied at the shoulders, with a wide neckline and very long, it perfectly showcased her silhouette and almost gave her the look of a movie princess! An absolutely stunning dress, which she paired with a silver clutch and asymmetrical jewels from French jewelry designer Van Cleef & Arpels. His hair, smoothed for the occasion had been left free. Lightly made up, as usual, she dazzled all evening. Prince William, meanwhile, was not left out, with a midnight blue velvet suit.

The couple clearly marked the evening and were able to meet notable personalities from the Bahamas, mixing military leaders and stars of the country such as Miss Bahamas 2021, Sienna Evans, who had represented her country for Miss World. A last evening that they will not be able to forget, when their day had been very busy. Indeed, they had started their first day by visiting a school in the pouring rain. Not enough to lose the smile, however, since they had even joked with the children and the staff, apologizing for having “brought back the english rain“to the Caribbean. They then met caregivers, on the front line for two years in the battle against Covid-19.

Then, they were able to participate in a regatta, each on a boat, which ended with a resounding victory for Prince Charles’ son over the one he married in 2011. For the occasion, George’s mother, Charlotte and Louis had decided to wear fairly short shorts and a white polo shirt. Very athletic, the couple did not hesitate to participate and get a little wet!

Their trip to the Caribbean, organized as part of the tour of Commonwealth countries to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, will end this weekend. During the week, they had first traveled to Belize and then to Jamaica, before ending up in the Bahamas.
