Recovering from her abdominal operation, the Princess of Wales has revealed that doctors have diagnosed her with cancer. Prince William’s wife also indicated that she had started a chemotherapy protocol to fight the disease. “I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank you for all the wonderful messages of support and understanding as I recover from surgery. These last few months have been incredibly difficult for our entire family, but I have had a fantastic medical team who took care of me, and who I am grateful for.“, first declared Kate Middleton in a video published on social networks on the evening of Friday March 22, 2024.
“In January I had major abdominal surgery in London and at the time it was thought my condition was not cancerous. The operation is a success. However, tests after surgery revealed the presence of cancer. My medical team therefore advised me to undergo preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of this treatment. Of course, this was a huge shock. William and I have done everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our family“, then added the Princess of Wales.
Very touched by this announcement, Kate Middleton’s brother gave her his full support. “Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one too with you“, wrote James Middleton on Instagram, while posting a photo of himself alongside his sister during their youth.
