And for good reason, the gold hoops she wore were made by a small Welsh jewelry brand called Spells of Love. Upon discovering that the Duchess of Cambridge was wearing her earrings, Hayley Jones, who runs the company, told the Mirror : “It was so nice to see Her Royal Highness wearing them, it’s always very surreal!“

On a small cloud, the young woman revealed: “I immediately called my mother, who then called my whole family. It was incredibly exciting. She was gorgeous and I’m honored to have Her Royal Highness wearing our creation.“After Kate Middleton appeared with one of her pair of earrings, Hailey Jones said it had boosted her sales and the pair chosen by the mother of three was already sold out.”As a small business, this has really helped put my business forward. I received orders from countries that I never thought would know about my brand. It has helped my business immensely, I am so grateful and honored to have Her Royal Highness wearing one of my designs.“

During this official visit, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited a specialized goat farm at Pant Farm, visited Abergavenny Market, helped make Welsh Cakes, and planted a tree in honor of Blaenavon’s local heritage.
