Kate Middleton’s cancer: the adorable reaction of a sick child

His story had shocked her. In 2020, a photo of a five-year-old girl, Mila Sneddon, suffering from leukemia, looking at her father through a window protecting her from covid-19, moved the whole world, including Kate Middleton. The princess then went to meet the young Scottish woman twice, before sending her a handwritten letter. The first time, at a tea at Holyroodhouse, where the princess kept her promise to wear pink, Mila’s favorite color, and the second, at Westminster Abbey for a Christmas concert, where the little girl was invited to read a prayer.

It is therefore quite natural that Mila, now eight years old, did not hesitate to share her support for the princess following the announcement of her diagnosis on March 22, offering her words of comfort and encouragement. . In remission for two years after her own battle with leukemia, the little Scot encouraged the Duchess of Cambridge to be “so brave” that she herself was, reported the Daily Mail on March 24. The young girl and her parents also plan to send a get well soon card to the princess, in a beautiful gesture of compassion.
