Enviable! How to describe Katja Burkards, 58, fans not only the presenter’s holiday home, but also her “dream body”. Because the bay in Okinawa, Japan looks like a painting, just like the author’s bikini body. Of course, Katja’s great figure also immediately catches the eye of her Instagram followers: “Wow, Katja, … the dream body of a 30-year-old.” While everyone is just wondering how she achieved that, GALA has the answers. In an interview, the RTL face reveals her bikini secret.

Katja Burkard: “I’m obsessed with chips”

What is the secret behind Katja Burkard’s dream body? In any case, it’s not a renunciation, she reveals that to GALA in an interview: “In principle, I eat everything I like. For the most part, these are healthy things, but I’m also obsessed with chips. I don’t resist them.” However, the presenter openly admits that if she can’t keep her hands off the fried delicacies, she does without the following: “If I eat chips, then there’s no more dinner.” She goes on to say that she keeps track of her calories. She remains true to this method.

When the scales go in a direction that I don’t like, “Dinner Canceling” works best for me. From 5 p.m. only water and tea.

Katja’s best advice: “It pays off when you get older”

Even if one would already assume at the sight of her bikini body that there is hard work behind Katja’s flat stomach and trained body, it sounds far less exhausting from her mouth. “I’ve always done a lot and above all I like sport. I think it pays off, especially when you get older.” But what exactly does your training plan look like? She says she runs between 80 and 100 kilometers a month, which is three to four laps a week. But regular weight training is also part of it. Her favorite course: Bodypump! She recommends whole-body training with barbells for everyone who is healthy, “because you can decide for yourself how strenuous it is with the weights.”

For everyone who doesn’t find exercise as easy as Katja Burkard, she has a tip: “Find a sport that you like! There’s no point in torturing yourself running if you hate it.” That’s exactly why she doesn’t have to pull herself together because she really loves the sport. Her advice is: “Try it out! Dance, yoga, Pilates, swim – and always think about the great “after” feeling.”
