Sweet news from “Bachelor” candidate Kattia Vides: She is expecting her first child with her husband Patrick Weilbach. But it was a long way to get there.
After they made their love official on “Let’s Dance” in 2018 and said yes three years later, they are allowed to marry Kattia Vides, 36, and CDU politician Patrick Weilbach are now happy about having offspring: The former “Bachelor” candidate is pregnant!
“It didn’t come when we wanted it most…”
“From first looks to never-ending love, from engagement to wedding, from adventure trips to the quiet moments at home – our journey was saturated with pure joy. But, beneath all that joy lay a quiet wish, a missing piece of the puzzle,” writes the couple in a moving post on Instagram and confessed: “It didn’t come when we wanted it most, and sometimes we doubted whether this special kind of love would ever touch us. But we firmly believe that the most beautiful things come with time need and that God’s timing is perfect.”

Now her greatest wish has come true. “Now, in this precious moment, we experience a love that is unique and overwhelming. We feel blessed, fulfilled and imbued with a deep happiness. This longing that we have felt turns into joy. The wonderful news: us are expecting our first child. A miracle that not only fills our hearts with endless joy, but also connects and enlivens our families,” the couple write full of anticipation about a video in which Kattia shows off her baby bump for the first time in a skimpy bikini in front of a fantastic beach backdrop shows. And not only that, the couple even promptly revealed the gender of their unborn child: Kattia and Patrick Weilbach are expecting a boy!
