(Boursier.com) – The traditional annual capital increase for the staff of KBC Group SA and some of its subsidiaries in Belgium brought about, on December 17, 2021, the following changes with regard to the capital and the number of shares / voting rights of KBC Group SA.
– The capital is increased from 663,509.34 euros to 1,459,535,533.42 euros.
– The total number of shares increases with 189,034 to 416,883,592. The number of voting rights is also increased from 189,034 to 416,883,592.

The transparency legislation aims to improve the transparency of the shareholding structure of listed companies. To this end, investors in listed companies must – if certain thresholds are exceeded – inform the company concerned of their participation by sending it notifications.
For KBC Group, the statutory notification threshold is 3% of the total number of voting rights. Beyond that, the legal thresholds of 5% and any multiple of 5% apply.
