The updated list was published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry. It includes politicians, journalists, but also entrepreneurs. Among them, other Labor MPs, such as David Lammy and Lisa Nandy, journalists from the BBC and from other major British newspapers.

To justify this sanction, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs claims that the persons in question “contribute to London’s hostile policy aimed at demonizing our country and isolating it on the international scene”. And he added: “Britain’s harmful acts of stoking Russophobia, spreading false information about our country and supporting the neo-Nazi regime in kyiv will bring about a firm and adequate reaction from the Russian side. »
Russia responds
From now on, the number of British personalities banned from staying in Russia amounts to more than 250, including Boris Johnson.
