Actor Kellan Lutz and his wife Brittany have become parents to a daughter for the first time.
Kellan Lutz (35, "Twilight") and his wife Brittany have become parents for the first time. The happy news announced the new mother via Instagram: "She is here!" Writes Brittany Lutz about a few snapshots from the hospital. The girl goes by the name Ashtyn Lilly Lutz and was born on February 21st.
The day she was born was a cold winter's day, Lutz continued. The next day, however, the sky was clear and sunny and the winter had melted away: "It was so symbolic when you consider that at the same time last year, winter entered our souls, only to see us a year later to greet the brightest sunshine ", Lutz continued.
About a year ago, the couple had to cope with a miscarriage. At the time, Lutz wrote in an emotional post: "It has been a great honor and pleasure to be your mother in the last six months." She doesn't know why that happened, but she made her peace with it, knowing that the little one had neither experienced nor will experience pain and grief.
