Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series on August 17

If Kentucky Route Zero is a narrative adventure game, it is also (and above all?) a long human adventure, which began in 2013. A journey through Kentucky, the most Lynchian in history, from the minds of Jake Elliott, Tamas Kemenczy and Ben Babbitt, founding triumvirate of Cardboard Computer, which spread erratically from episode to episode until January 2020, date of publication of the fifth and final chapter of KRZ.

Kentucky Without Fried Chicken

point’n’click narrative, initiatory quest, cultural object with multiple literary and filmic influences, Kentucky Route Zero is one of those video game objects that mark a player’s journey. As long as we let ourselves be caught up in its minimalist graphic universe, and if the rhythm of its story, sometimes voluntarily soothing, comes to vibrate the strings of its own introspection, it offers a memorable experience, brought to the general public via the publisher Annapurna Interactive. An experience that will therefore soon be within the reach of owners of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, since Cardboard Computer has confirmed the arrival of the title on these media for August 17. For the occasion, the studio has also posted a new trailer dedicated to this port.
