Keria became the first support to be voted player of the season last night, after his T1 team’s record dominance in the Korean league.
The records are linked in LCK and in particular on the side of T1. The Korean team had already broken a record in the Korean championship by being the first team to line up 15 consecutive victories in the split, some time after their midlaner, Fakerreached the kill record. With 18 wins and therefore a perfect clean sheet this season, unheard of in the LCK, T1 logically flew to the playoffs and an almost assured victory. On his side, Keria was also logically elected MVP of the Spring Split.
And there again, it is part of the story that has been played out. The 19-year-old competitor, registered with the spring champions since last season, is the very first support to obtain this title in LCK. Ryu Min-seok, former nugget of DragonX had already been part of the All-Pro Team 3 times, in 2020 and 2021. He therefore adds, in addition to the title of MVP, a 4th selection for this 2022 segment.
The playoffs will begin this Wednesday, March 23. with DWG against Fredit BRION then the next day with DRX against Kwangdong Freecs for the quarter-finals. T1 will go directly to the semis against one of the winners, and Gen.G also has a place to play. The final, and qualification for MSI 2022, is scheduled for April 2.
