Kering: will propose 3 new independent directors


(CercleFinance.com) – The Kering Board of Directors will propose to the Annual General Meeting of April 25, 2024 the appointment of three new independent directors: Rachel Duan, Giovanna Melandri and Dominique D’Hinnin.

Rachel Duan, a Chinese national, held several management positions in the United States, Japan and China during her 25-year career at General Electric (GE). Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of GE and President and CEO of GE Global Markets.

Giovanna Melandri, of Italian and American nationality, is an economist, specializing in the cultural sector and sustainable development. She is both president of the Human Foundation, which promotes the impact economy and sustainable finance, and also founder and ambassador of the organization GSG, Global Steering Group for Impact Investment.

Dominique D’Hinnin is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eutelsat Communications. A French national, he was Financial Director of the Lagardère group for 18 years and also assumed co-management.

If the General Assembly approves the corresponding resolutions, the Board of Directors will have 13 members.
