Revealed to the general public thanks to his sketches at the age of 17, Kev Adams then became one of the French’s favorite comedians over the years. In parallel with his activities on stage, the comedian also launched into comedy on the small and big screen. Viewers were, for example, able to see him at the head of the series SODA on M6 and W9. Kev Adams was also the lead actor in the hit comedy called Retirement home, which was released in cinemas in 2022. With more than two million cinema admissions during its release, this feature film will soon be entitled to a sequel. Kev Adams is currently in the middle of a promotional tour for Retirement home 2 across France. Unfortunately, the comedian was forced to temporarily suspend his commitments following a health problem which required emergency surgery. He also spoke about this in the story of his Instagram account on Saturday January 13, 2024, without however revealing the cause of his hospitalization.

“I want to apologize to everyone I was supposed to meet this weekend. Unfortunately, a small health concern took over. I was happy to meet you for this film that I love. But I leave you in good hands with a crazy cast! It’s only a postponement, I’m sure. I kiss you and don’t worry, everything is fine”, indicated the actor. Subsequently, Kev Adams published a photo of himself in his hospital bed accompanied by a short text, to give his fans news on his state of health. “A big thank you to everyone for your messages, I admit I was really touched. So I had emergency surgery last night at the Cannes hospital,” he said, before adding: “A big thank you to all the hospital staff who were truly exceptional. I take this opportunity to send lots of strength to all the doctors, nurses, caregivers and others who do not sleep to treat us, who dedicate their lives to helping the lives of others. The actor then apologized once again to the fans who had come to see him during the various previews of the film Retirement home 2 organized in recent days. “Thank you once again for your messages of support and strength. I apologize once again for the preview dates this weekend. I rest fully to be present to all the others. I kiss you hard and love you”concluded Kev Adams.
