For months after filing for divorce, Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner fought over custody of their children and the amount of child support payments. Now the actor and his ex have apparently reached an agreement.
Unexpected twist in the divorce drama between Kevin Costner, 68, and Christine Baumgartner, 49: The Hollywood star and his wife have surprisingly come to an agreement. This is reported by the US celebrity portal “TMZ”.

After Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner in May after 18 years of marriage, a bitter war of the roses followed between the former dream couple. For months, the actor and his ex fought in court over custody of their three children and the amount of maintenance payments. According to TMZ, an agreement has now been reached and the divorce war has been settled.

Unexpected settlement reached in divorce dispute
Exactly what the agreement will look like is still unclear. But according to the gossip portal, Baumgartner is said to have agreed to the terms of a three-page settlement letter. The “Bodyguard” star had previously won several partial victories in court. It is not known how much maintenance Baumgartner actually receives. According to insiders, the still-married couple is said to have agreed on a higher sum than was stipulated in the marriage contract concluded at the time.
