Kevin Spacey has now celebrated his comeback in front of a film camera on home soil as well, as recordings from the set show.

For the first time since allegations against Kevin Spacey (62) have become loud, the actor has now been spotted on a film shoot in the United States. Pictures, which are available to the US side “TMZ”, are supposed to show the once celebrated star on the set of the flick “Peter Five Eight”. Spacey is dressed all in black in the photos and a video from the set. The recordings were made in the city of Dunsmuir in the north of the US state of California.

Spacey is still miles away from a Hollywood comeback. “Peter Five Eight” is a small production, direction and screenplay come from Michael Zaiko Hall, who was mainly responsible for the visual effects in films like “Cars 3” or “Pacific Rim”. You won’t find any other well-known stars in the film.

Not his first engagement

However, this does not represent his first engagement in front of a film camera since the allegations. In June it became known that Spacey had appeared in an Italian film called “L’uomo Che Disegno Dio” (“The Man Who Painted God”) by director Franco Nero ( 79) will appear. A little later he was spotted in Turin, where he had a drink and snacks in a café with co-star Robert Davi (70).

Spacey has not been in the movie business since 2017 after numerous men accused him of sexually assaulting during the #MeToo debate. However, two charges did not result in a conviction. Nevertheless, the allegations had serious consequences for Spacey: Netflix canceled his contract and he was cut from the hit movie “Alles Geld der Welt” (2017) and replaced by Christopher Plummer (1929-2021).
