OnePlus has made a name for itself with its smartphones in recent years. This year the manufacturer surprises with the OnePlus 11, which impresses in our short test with the large display and the long battery life.
However, in addition to smartphones, OnePlus also develops headphones and recently introduced its first mechanical keyboard. The Winter Bonfire Edition of the Keyboard 81 Pro is now available in the online shop. As with their cell phones, OnePlus promises high quality, which should not only be expressed in the feel, but also in the handling.

The brand new keyboard from OnePlus is now available directly from the manufacturer. For the Winter Bonfire version you pay 249 euros for the keyboard. The Summer Breeze Edition will be available from a price of 269 euros. It is not yet known when this will appear.

The keyboard is equipped with OnePlus Red ESC keys and a rotary wheel, which should underline the extraordinary design and expand the personalization options. The Marble Mallow keycap material is typically used for wristbands and charging cables, but it’s now featured on the latest OnePlus keyboard.
The Keyboard 81 Pro can be used on all operating systems. For even more customization options, the keyboard has customizable features like hot-swappable switches and flexible, open-source firmware. A dimension of 33.83 x 15.05 x 4.73 centimeters wants to convince with the compact form factor. However, with a weight of up to 1,887 grams, the keyboard weighs significantly more than other keyboards of a comparable size.

The keyboard can be used wirelessly via Bluetooth, the maximum battery life is up to 100 hours according to the manufacturer. The RGB backlighting is intended to give the keyboard that special visual touch, so that you can optimally adapt it to the ambience or your setup.
If you currently decide to buy the keyboard, you will get various add-ons with a discount of up to 30 percent. Including the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in black design. For the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, you currently only pay 48.30 euros as an add-on instead of the regular 69 euros.
