R&B singer Keyshia Cole has to cope with the death of her adoptive father. Leon Cole Jr. died as a result of his Covid 19 illness.

The American soul and R&B singer Keyshia Cole (40) mourns the loss of her adoptive father Leon Cole Jr. The musician confirmed via Twitter. According to media reports, her father was admitted to a hospital in early November due to his Covid 19 disease and had to be treated in the intensive care unit. This was confirmed a little later by Keyhsia’s adoptive mother, Dr. Yvonne Cole. Keyshia Cole’s drug addict birth mother, Frankie Lons, died of an overdose earlier this year.

Keyshia Cole made her breakthrough in 2005 with her debut album “The Way It Is”. In 2006 her biggest hit to date followed, the collaboration “(When You Gonna) Give It Up to Me” with dancehall singer Sean Paul (48). In the last few years she has worked with R&B and rap greats such as Kanye West (44), Lil ‘Kim (47), Missy Elliott (50), John Legend (42) and R. Kelly (54) aware of oneself. Her last album “11:11 Reset” was released in 2017.
