Around 4,000 people took part in the big parade through Pratteln. Numerous clubs, music groups and guests of honor from the Basel area and all over Switzerland took part.
With the acceptance of the flag at the Pratteler Castle, the federal state was officially opened.

At 2 p.m., the big parade started with around 4,000 participants. In the front rows, the organizers and the governments of the two Basels were able to enjoy the bath in the crowd.

And last but not least, the host community of Pratteln wanted to show its diverse side at the ESAF parade. 40 percent of the municipality, which has 17,000 inhabitants, do not have a Swiss cross on their passport.
